Elliot's Beach, Chennai

Eliot's beach is located along the coast down south from Marina near Besant Nagar, Chennai. This beach does not offer much activity and is an extremely calm and tranquil place. It is also a night beach for youths in Chennai City. Eliot's beach is ideal for long walks and sea bathing. It is quite famous for tourists and Chennai natives. Good road facilities,illuminated sand and tranquility make this beach a real pleasure.At the end of this beach are the Ashtalakshmi temple and Velankanni Church which are worth visiting.
