Shridi Sai temple is one of the well-maintained modern religious center of Hindus and a tourist attraction of Chennai City.
The Sai Baba temple is located at Mylapore, in the heart of the Chennai city. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shirdi Sai. Devotees flock the temple on Thursdays, the special day for Sai Baba. The temple also has two separate shrines dedicated to Lord Krishna and Lord Rama.
This is the only temple where devotees are allowed to touch, garland and photograph the Shirdi Sai idol. It is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Sai Baba in South India. On Thursdays a Muslim's chant the Koran at about 4.30 p.m. and on Sundays Christian read Bible, apart from bhajans on Thursdays.
On Thursdays, the temple is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on other days Sai Temple is open from 5 a.m. to noon and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
