Ayyappan Temple,Raja Annamalaipuram

The Rajah Annamalaipuram Iyyappa temple is popularly called as Vada Sabari (Northern Sabari).It is an exact replica of the Sabari Malai temple and attracts devotees in large numbers.

The temple being constructed in three-floors with the same 18-step formation as sabarimala.Devotees who maintain the Viradham and bear the Irumudi Kattu, come up through these steps as traditionally followed in Sabari.

Apart from this passage there is also a normal passage through which other devotees can enter and seek the blessings of the Lord. The huge prayer hall with a seating capacity of 1500 people and a 40 feet tall single piece Dhvajasthamba are the speciality of this temple.
